Can there really be a thing like best idea in the world?
We all need Variation, Selection and Heredity. With these 3 we can create evolution. If something is copied with variation and selected then you must have the design appearing. Any information that is varied and selected is called design. Everything is replicated.
Information we copy from person to person through talking, walking, doing something. This is how we replicate designs. It's important to stick with definations because alot of problems can be solved when we stick to definations.
Meme is not a information/design/you and me etc. It's about copying/passing it from person to person. Why do memes spread? Is it good, beautiful ?
A random memes like earphones, people don't design the earphones, they just went out and buy it because they needed it. Toilet paper is spread all over the world.
Memes are all copys of something. Human beings are the main machine. We alone is a meme machines.
All humans in this world are genes machines and meme machines. Genes machines turns the memes into memes machine. Memes is dangerous. Memes are using us to create more stuff. Memes are spreading because they must. It's like Memes are some evil mastermind of replicating. It's like using humans to create because we create memes by making babies.
From the talk i remembered the show Irobot where AI was created and it sort of took over the world. Like it no longer needs the help of human beings. From the video i can see her point saying that memes is dangerous. Everything around us is memes. like bottles, books, laptops, Tvs, Handphone. Everything even ourselves. Like how i am so adapted to this world that if you want me to travel back in time to live there i probably wouldn't know what to do. Everything is different. Well i agree that memes is dangerous, but i believe that we can overcome the memes. How so? I don't know but everything is created out of nothing so we can definately think of something. Like Electricity was created and it becomes the world's greatest invention. Just imagine the world without electricity. We could probably use candles. Just an alternatives i believe but we would not have school anymore because our course requires the use of laptops which requires electricity. Now i can really see the danger in it but we just can't help it.

Ideas are like virus. Ideas are like the parasite that hijack human brains.
Ideas to die for like: Freedom, Justice, Truth, communism, etc. Ideas are infectious as it spreads from grain to grain. We are all responsible about memes. Ideas are easy to be misused that's why it is dangerous. Ideas can live off because it is passed on.
Technology brings about many ideas. Technology is largely wonderful. Among those ideas that flow out into the whole world thanks to technology. Memes are spreading out around the world and they are wiping out cultures, languages, practices. Like pronography spreading out like memes replicating around the world. It affects the education.
How do we tell a good memes and a bad memes? we will never anihilate the germs but we can encourage the spread of the germs.
I feel that the whole talk is only talking about how dangeours ideas are from spreading through technology. Like Daemon comes out to help the artist to protect itself it's own work. People who has creativity to them is a genius. Being a genius than rather than having a genius. It's wrong from what she says. When one is being entitle as an artist (genius) they are being put under pressure and this pressure has been going on for the past 500 years.
Ideas of how she does work. Talking to the space helps to change her working process. Her work is all the same and intact but her working process changed.
when one is afraid of doing something or some work, the main idea for this is not to be afraid. Just do your job, your dance, etc. Do not give up and eventually things will keep coming up.
From my point of view as a student, well for a games design student i admit that i have been using most of my life playing games than eating. I admit that i have times that i am very distracted and i know that i am suppose to do work. I remember that i just can't concentrate because my brain is telling me that i am so sick of work. Sometimes i would tell myself that i would start work after playing for an hour or so but it always ends up playing games everyday. So i tell myself that i need to buck up and start doing work so i can kick out my laziness for a few days. Sometimes when i don't concentrate at school work, i would talk to myself. Like asking myself "Is this what you want?" "what will happen if you don't do work?" Those kind of stuff. Something feels weird when i spent alot of times playing games, i feel that i hate myself so much that i am so relaxed. haha...

War
The word war is very sensitive word to everyone. When we speak of war the first image that comes to our mind is suffering. War only brings sadness to people, and this decision is made by one that thinks that this decision is not made by him but the others. what can we change? Idealogy
Ideaogy from government, from Religion, from terrorist, etc. What made them do those actions? Is it dreams? Idealogy comes from dreams and a dream is a thought made out of people's subconcious. It's something that we want and hope to achieve for. Sometimes we encounter De javu in our lifes, like we have seen the same scenerio in our dreams before, it's true that we seen it before and it's just a projection of the things we seen. I've encounter various de javu in life also and it still amase me no matter how many times i encounter it.
Subconcious mind is something that we can't control. That is how we get hypnotise as well.
Terrorist is a group of people trying to do something bad to the others because they want revenge for the government. The reason they did so is because they or their families have been hurt before. We tends to judge people by looks, people with beard and long hair tends to looks suspicious, well we are told not to judge a book by it's cover but it's really not happening in real life. Today i just watch Devil and while in the show, my friend and I has been guessing who the real devil is, my friend guessed the old lady while i guess the young man because he looks suspicious. AS the movie unfolds i realise that i was wrong, Just because he was the last one that didn't get killed doesn't mean that he is the bad guy. well my friend guessed correctly and i asked him why did he choose the old lady and he says that the devil always tends to take form of the weak like an old lady or a little girl to create an illusion.
Subconcious records all the things that you've seen or done, I once watch a show about this girl killing a guy and forgets all about it because she is in a shock state that it triggers to lock up that part of her memory and through hynotism that she remembers what happens and recover.
Idealogy works when the thoughts is spreading around. Like brain wash, Misinterpretation of what people says and Up bringing of one. Speaking of terrorism i feel safe in singapore though there have been bomb cases but i think that i am still safe in some way, not like some one will come in from my window and steal my stuff or people breaking in banks to rob them.
Games created with violence while for this everyone has their way of getting violent, like banging tables, etc. But if games that doesn't have violence contents does that means we'll be safe from it? Well it's fun to play games that have violence contents like fighting and blood splattering all around but people just need to know what is real and what is not.
I think it's good that the school lets us learn the history of war, and understand the true meaning of what it is trying to convey. I can't say fully that i understand the meaning of war but the history of it lets me understand more about singapore.
politics is the cause for war. Though i didn't have to go through it but i heard stories about world war from my grandmother. My grandmother got hurt by the bomb before and she says it happens so sudden that she didn't know what to do. Well she told me that she and her mum was working under one of the Japanese chief and she says that he is very polite to them. My grandma and her mum helps with the house whole chores and was ironing the clothes for them when the japanese walks in and bow to them. Well i think they are not as bad as they looks.

Secret Society
Secret society sounds cool to me, like some big mission done by people that we commoners didn't know about. How did they even manage to create a society secretly.
Illuminati is one of the secret society founded by Adam Weishaupt. The goal of the Illuminati is to create a new world order under one goverment, like domination, taking control of everyone and to limit wars between countries. As i have guess before knowing it's purpose, i think it's created because of war and will only fight with the government to gain power.
Illuminati can also be found in modern times through media like music, movies, books etc. There are many reasons why secret society is form, could be that they feel that life is unfair that they have to starve while the rich have lots of money to waste on food, women and house. Anti religion, war, society and life they had. All these people wanted is freedom and revenge, because they believe they can make their life better.
Does these beliefs brought more suffering to the people? Life is unfair and it just depends on how people sees it. When one is positive, the things he/she sees is positive and if one is negative the things they see will all be negative. What are they any different from the people they wanted revenge on?
The symbols is everywhere even in movies, i find this really scary since we tend to see it in our surroundings. Is secret society still alive?

Final Blog Entry for Sem 1
1) Reflection
If i were to choose 5 topics that i like i would choose Heroes, Games in Movies, Crime, SuperNatural and A.I. First as we talk about heroes we all know that heroes in movies are all special, we can also think it in a way that even though we don't participate in movies or have healing powers, we are still a hero in our lifes. Heroes that helps others when one is in trouble. To me the heroes in my life is my grandmother and my parents. They give life to me and teach me well, although they are a nag sometimes but i know they care alot for me. Not to mention we all had our neighbourhood heroes like our police man, doctors, nurses. When a protagonist exist, a antagonist will appear. The antagonist in my family is my grandfather, wouldn't go into details on this anyway, When a life has both the good and the bad, we have already create a game.
Life is like a game, though we don't have a second chance when a crime is made but we have the choice to make our own decision. Whether to our wisdom wisely or destroy it. What happens when it's the end of one life? I once heard this phrase before "The end of one life is the beginning of the other" When one is dead the other is born. I believe this is true because everyday life is brought to earth. But what will actually happen when one is dead? It's all like what the others have been saying, supernatural. Those that claims to be able to see it, can't proff that they can but people just wants to believe. For me i use to believe there's ghost because of movies i watch. Now that i notice there isn't anything happening to me in my life that is not explainable, well maybe because i've been finding excuses of not believing it?
Movies are so popular that a movie theater can never go bankrupt. Everyday will be crowded and who would thought that we can watch games in movies as well? Movie is a good media that can tells us alot of things. Not just about the entertainment. Movies with games elements brings new ideas to people, like dreams in movies(Inception) or even fantasy in movies(Alice in Wonderland). Mixing game genres into movies gives people space of imagination. And i believe that with these imaginations we will be able to create something new.
Who would have thought that we can make robots now? Though the robots we seen in movies were always so intelligent, fast, strong and ability to think for themself. we can't really make one out like this for now. Since Japan has been playing with robots and making a human robot, they are able to make them walk by themself and make certain emotions. Maybe by combining robots and movies, we can even create a hollogram and watch our movies or even shift the hollogram around like Iron man 2. It would be cool if i can have one of those stuff =D
2) Speculate about the future of gaming
I didn't really think about it since we have all we wanted now and i am contented that we have laptops, Televisions, and even game console like Wii, PSP, etc. Well there's a few things i thought about when i finish watching a movie. I use to think that it would be great if the train station would stop by my house that i would not have to walk all the way to the station, or maybe have a teleport machine at home so i can just teleport to school or anywhere else, or maybe i can have a flying device so i can fly high up to the sky? When i play games i know that i can't just play enough of it. It's so good that i want to jump into the games and play real. Maybe life is too boring here for me since all i did is go to school, come home, eat, play games, sleep. Everyday life style. I wanted to change and perhaps i just want to run away from reality like how doraemon gives his buddy a time machine to stop time so he could finish his work on time?

3) Creativity
I've learn that inorder to be creative we need to absorbe what others did and combine them together. Example if we see a circle and we were to play with it there's many ways we can play with, throw it, toss it, lick it, eat it, give it away, etc. One can play in his own ways to create something out of it's imagination.
Here's my creativity model/game
The first thing that i base my design on is House and Tree, i combine it together because for me in order to be creative i want to feel comfortable like when i'm at home, this is where i feel most comfortable with and then i combine it with tree because trees absorb sunlight and water to create food for themselves, i want to use this idea and so i created my design with 2 compartment, one is the current ideas that i have, second is the memory. I place my current ideas and my memory into Process 1: Idea generator to choose and select the one i want, next is to move the selected items up so i can see clearly now that i have selected the things i want, Last ideas will be branched out at the roof and even if ideas were branched out, more ideas can branch out from that single idea tree.

Pseudoscience & Fringe Science
Since we all learn science before like physics and chemistry we know that we need to do both theory and practical test in order to pass and other than that we need to also prove our theory by doing experiments.
There are different types of science in this world. And since we are talking about science we know that mathematics is related as well. Pseudoscience is similar to fantasy whereby it inclues some real life elements. Science is actually alchemy in olden times and magic is involve. I don't really know if it is real since this worldi s full of mysteries and i don't know if there were people that don't age at all cause even if there is they wouldn't just come out and say i'm immotal.
Astrology is the predictions of celestial activity. Some of us has actually make predictions on what is doing to happen. Like a projection from an object. since we all are born differently we all have different personality as well and our moon sign and star sign plays a big role in our life.
Finge sciences is mostly called as weird science because phenomenona happens and it's just not logical at all. Hypnotism is something we all hears about as it is use in phychology treatment to make people remember that they forget like going back to the past. Hypnotism is something more to human beliefs, when one believe in it they will obey to it, I watch the myth busters doing test to see if hypnotism works on all people and sadly it works on all BUT when one is force to do an action they don't want to do they will not do it no matter how many hypnotism test they went.
Psychic phenomena works in a way that it is able to control something. Like an object moving etc. We actually proff this right because there's a guy being interviewed on tv asking him how he is able to play chess with just using his mind.
Dimentional Travel is something that is untouchable for now. Well i guess the only dimention we can go to is from Human to ghost. In the show fringe, in order for one to travel to another dimention called the parallel world, they need to find the correct spot. Like the weakest point for both earth and parallel world so that one can enter to the other side.
Fringe is nice to watch but if it really happens in real life i would say it is definately going to be a catastrophe. Humans that can explode, humans that change into a monster, human being used as experiments.
Game Design in this sense doesn't have much link to it unless some one is going to make a game using fringe science then it's possible other than that i think it's really nothing much to it.

Persuasive games and Future Gaming
I haven't really thought of what to see if i were being asked about games. I think it's just like a genie never thought of what to wish for because no one ask them before. I think games is like a drug to me, it is something that you can't get rid of just like a part of yourself. It helps you to get entertained and you can also learn something from it as well.
Games comes in many forms be it blocks of wood, papers, sticks, PC, Xbox, Playstation, PSP, DS etc. and you can say that all these are build because of gamers. Games are definately getting more and more intense with the latest technology and awsome graphics.
Since young we have already been introduced to games. Mini games like building blocks, matching the correct shapes, playing with colours. we even played traditional games like hop scotch, five stones, pick up sticks etc.
Now that we have play kids games we were introduced to another game call the board games like chess, Monopoly, Life etc. And it gets bored later on haha..
Every game has a purpose and rules to follow, rules like how many people can play the game, what objectives should players meet, what procedures to do before playing (eg. shuffling cards, distribute cards etc), Strict rules to follow at all cost in game, resources to use in game, what are the various conflicts they get (eg. if i were to attack this monster and i notice that my level is a lot lower and i am bound to die), what boundaries do i have (eg. stay within the box) and the outcome of the game whether is it fun, boring, interesting.
Pervasive games is such a big deal that Tokyo Game show is really a success. People from all over the world would come down and take a look not to mention that we have to queue 1 and a half hour to get in and you can never see finish everything/try all the games demo there. Each game waiting time is about 90 mins even buying stuff we have to queue to get in the shops, grab the things we want and queue to pay.
I definately see alot of cosplayers because it's the chance for them to showcase their self and it's like role playing in real life. When your a female and you role play a guy characters it is so interesting because you need to be him!
In life, we make our own decision, play our own journey and create our own endings. We can do what we want to do and make the best our of it but how many people actually does that? Some would just wait for the sky to fall knowing that it will fall eventually but some will live to the fullest even if it's end of the world. There are games that helps people to achieve something in life as well like the Amazing race, Survivor and facebook. Anyone can play the games and well they feel a sense of achievement onces in a while and it's really satisfying.
I once watched an anime .Hack is about a girl playing as a guy in a game. The game starts when one puts on the goggles and it feels like reality since what ever you see is different from the one place you're at now. It's like being there but not there kind of feeling.
I love playing Wii because it creates great audience interaction and it can make players exercise as well. Once you tried it you will never want to let it go. It's so addictives and the experience that you get from it is so real and it's all about fun =D
Transformation of media is like an in thing now that we can see 3D television sold anywhere. All you have to do is to put on the 3D Goggles and sit back and relax. Sitting at your own house with your own TV. It's even way cooler than watching it at the cinema because you can pause it? haha.. Well we use media to advertise and media is use in many other ways as well be it advertising Macdonals in Monopoly form or using media to educate kids like High Five, Barney, Micky Mouse. Games are even used in military as well like flight training and now when we learn motocycle to get the license some of the facility they use machines to test the testers instead of new motobikes. Hmm i don't know how safe it will be but since they are doing it so why not?
Now that they even have games in computers created just for BABIES! When i first saw it in toys r us i was like er... because babies are still so young and well i don't really know how they are gonna play it and i think they actually test it on babies so oh well...
I guess the next future gaming would a projections make into a world, people can get onto that projection and well the projection can change as well. Perhaps we can even fly in air.

Every game has a purpose and rules to follow, rules like how many people can play the game, what objectives should players meet, what procedures to do before playing (eg. shuffling cards, distribute cards etc), Strict rules to follow at all cost in game, resources to use in game, what are the various conflicts they get (eg. if i were to attack this monster and i notice that my level is a lot lower and i am bound to die), what boundaries do i have (eg. stay within the box) and the outcome of the game whether is it fun, boring, interesting.
Pervasive games is such a big deal that Tokyo Game show is really a success. People from all over the world would come down and take a look not to mention that we have to queue 1 and a half hour to get in and you can never see finish everything/try all the games demo there. Each game waiting time is about 90 mins even buying stuff we have to queue to get in the shops, grab the things we want and queue to pay.
I definately see alot of cosplayers because it's the chance for them to showcase their self and it's like role playing in real life. When your a female and you role play a guy characters it is so interesting because you need to be him!
In life, we make our own decision, play our own journey and create our own endings. We can do what we want to do and make the best our of it but how many people actually does that? Some would just wait for the sky to fall knowing that it will fall eventually but some will live to the fullest even if it's end of the world. There are games that helps people to achieve something in life as well like the Amazing race, Survivor and facebook. Anyone can play the games and well they feel a sense of achievement onces in a while and it's really satisfying.
I once watched an anime .Hack is about a girl playing as a guy in a game. The game starts when one puts on the goggles and it feels like reality since what ever you see is different from the one place you're at now. It's like being there but not there kind of feeling.
I love playing Wii because it creates great audience interaction and it can make players exercise as well. Once you tried it you will never want to let it go. It's so addictives and the experience that you get from it is so real and it's all about fun =DTransformation of media is like an in thing now that we can see 3D television sold anywhere. All you have to do is to put on the 3D Goggles and sit back and relax. Sitting at your own house with your own TV. It's even way cooler than watching it at the cinema because you can pause it? haha.. Well we use media to advertise and media is use in many other ways as well be it advertising Macdonals in Monopoly form or using media to educate kids like High Five, Barney, Micky Mouse. Games are even used in military as well like flight training and now when we learn motocycle to get the license some of the facility they use machines to test the testers instead of new motobikes. Hmm i don't know how safe it will be but since they are doing it so why not?
Now that they even have games in computers created just for BABIES! When i first saw it in toys r us i was like er... because babies are still so young and well i don't really know how they are gonna play it and i think they actually test it on babies so oh well...
I guess the next future gaming would a projections make into a world, people can get onto that projection and well the projection can change as well. Perhaps we can even fly in air.

Games in Movies
Games in movies is very intersting and i remembered the first movie that i watch that has game elements in it is Jumanji, I remember getting myself freak out when i watch this show. It's like horror shows to me since i was young that time but now that i seen it again i actually find it interesting. It attracts the watchers to anticipate as well for the people in the movies. It's like being together as one or imagining ourselves in it. That would be creepy.
Movie: Doom where by a group of people were moved to mars and the technology there is so great that they teleported from one point to another. It is said that the scientists has been attacked by an unknown monster and therefore a team of eight was sent to help out and upon arrival more truth unfolds as they found out that the monster is actually human beings that is being affected by the virus and this virus will only affect certain people however at only a very low rate. At the end of the show there's this shooting simulation thing like CS showing him walking and shooting at various monsters that pops out of nowhere.It's short but it's fun to watch this since it's quite fresh to me.
Movie: Gamer is another movie where players can either get controlled or control people. But for the main actor's story plot, the game rolls in a way that he is in jail and the only way to get out of jail is to play and get played. Seriously this is a sick game if you think about it. What happens if the person that controls you suck at playing? You will definately die because you're so unlucky. And i know that it is definately not fun to get controlled because they will make you wear funny clothes and do funny stuff. Isn't it weird? This is a game that there is no return. No save noo pause no nothing. All they got to do is stay alive at all cost.There's other interesting movies like Saw etc. I didn't really watch Saw because well one thing about it is it's gross and sick. Why would the killer want to make things difficult for the people and put them under traps so that they can hurt themselves? Isn't it sick? People were put to test to see if they had the ability to live.
For me i like to watch movies because i am looking for something. Like how good the story is depends on how well the actor portays it is one thing but other than that thhey need to make the character stand up for oneself. This is the thing i always look out of them watching movies.

World of Warcraft
We can all say that we heard about this before and some even played it. It's a massive multiplayer role play game by Blizzard Entertainment and that players just can't stop playing. Though as have to pay to play yet this has become the most awsome game i've played so far.
The reason i find this game fun is the NPC interaction and the storyline. The leveling is easy and the quest is doable by myself without anyone help. The storyline some requires NPC help and just follow the NPC to invade a certain town. For me my most favourite characters in game is the death knight. It has an extract storyline where you use to be a hero but was captured by the dark demon or something that you get brained wash and now working under them to kill civilians, until later on in the game that you learned that you were once a hero. In order to be able to play death knights characters you have to level a normal characters to level 80 and it will unlock the death knight characters which death knight will start the game straight at level 55.
For me i don't think that WOW is a racist game. It just brings in different races of characters into game and from my point of view it's like different races working together to defeat a certain enemy. Other than that, game makers have to make sure that players gets choices in game, creating more class,race and gender also makes the player more attracted to it. Different race have different strength as well just like us humans where we have our own strength in within. It basically depends on how the person thinks and this game is not just about quest.
Quest are there to basically helps you to level to 80 and from them on if you think that 80 is the end of the hero journey then you are wrong because 80 is the beginning of the hero journey.
At level 80 players will need to team up and work with other people to fight and get awsome weapons and amors, These items are rare and can't find it elsewhere not to mention that it is a rare drop as well.Since it's a game, we can all do the things we can't do in reality. Once again this can help/make it worse for people as well. For me i want to try different types of ga,es and i love it all. This is the only time that i can find out what i really like doing well not the stealing part or anything but it's the experiencign it makes it fun. Well i definately don't dare to steal people's car in day light but in game it's just so fun to do it but i guess i'll get bored of it eventually and turn to other games.
Warcraft has a few games element where you have to gain popularity from certain city/region and the region will slide as if you are suppose to do quest on region A region A will slowly trust you and you can do more quest but region B will hate you alot so if you went to region B they will probably throw stuff at you or refuse to talk to you or they would attack you.
I believe that this game has a few things that needs to be improve like perhaps the clothes of the characters? lolz not very nice to me but the game storymode quest is all fine and interesting.

Anime Manga
I believe we all know about Anime and Manga, It first started during the 12 century where people at that time draw on scroll. They will draw on a very long scroll where readers read from right to left.
The word Manga comes from the word comics/Cartoon. Manga is always drawn in black and white and images are form to tell a story. How do the readers know what the character feels in the manga? By writting the sound effect for example if a dog is barking behind *woof woof* or when a person is drinking water *gloop gloop gloop* this is so efficient isn't it? haha well the facial expression is very imporant as well because it portrays what the character feels even without words.
Later on, people create Anime from manga. Anime is like an animation film using the manga as base. One very popular manga and anime we all know is Naruto. Sadly, anime is not a genre but we can always use anime to influence game. People that likes to watch naruto will want to play naruto games as well. Be it like some stupid dating sims like sakura choosing between sasuke,naruto and lee or fighting games like 1 VS 1 and there's even story mode. It's really vice versa now that you can find games made into an anime.
Games can be quite scary because you can marry a girl in your handheld games DS. Isn't it weird? Definately no life. One thing that all guys love to see is cosplay especially when girls is cosplaying as maid. I should say that it is the best way to promote your self to people when your cosplaying BUT they is also a side effect whereby there is also other competitors out there and cosplay costumes is super expensive in singapore, Not to mention some even went to the extend of getting their one tailored. 
Some how when we were asked to draw characters we tend to draw manga characters more because it's easier to draw? OR perhaps it's what people likes about. It's like fantasizing on the characters and people just don't get enough of it. Even for 3d Models some of my classmate went all out to create a 3d model of an anime characters. Isn't it amazing? haha it can be preety scary isn't it? I think the most scariest thing is they actually sell perverted games in animation form. soon they come up with action figures as well. Not just that you can even find Bleach sword in sword shop and they will even give you a certificate on it since it's real. Anime character's Accessories like Final Fantasy can be seen in shop as well. Kinokuniya actually sells books that helps people to learn how to draw anime characters, It is definately a good way to earn money since people are accepting anime and manga well.

Space Opera
Space Opera is a sub genre of science Fiction that is closely related to romantic and sometimes dramatic adventures that is set entirely in outer space. It's like a story told in space with the protagonist and perhaps aliens?
Space Opera originate during 1900 and the earlier works usually on travelling between planets. Time passes and soon battles were introduced as well like star wars.
There's a lot of medias using space opera as genre. I think it is because of this medias that we always think about aliens when we talk about outer space. Movies like Lost in Space, Dante 01, star Trek, etc. Is it this media that influence our mind?
Some thing i find interesting about when we first saw movies like aliens invasion or disctrict 9 aliens has alot of forms. And it seems they aliens are always using high technology weapons and are always smarter than us humans. I guess that explains why they invade earth because they are able to and we are not able to do so.
There is always only 1 choice when we know alien is invading that is to fight them. Even though they say they come in peace but who can actually believe it? We don't know them well but they know us so well because they speak our language. It's like war between good and evil. And when we speak of fighting we will begin to search for our own allies to form a team to defeat the ultimate bad guys. Some way or another there will bound to be love. And that is how space opera is form. What happens if an alien falls inlove with a human?
I am really curious about the time difference in space and on earth. It's like we are stepping on earth which was once a space, but here we have gravity and it just feels amazing.
When we are told to create a space ship for our school assignments i am really stuck because firstly even though i've seen a spaceship on TV it's no way that we know which is which and well i don't really know if we can have toilet bowls on spaceship or maybe a canteen? So well when i was creating my spaceship i imagine it myself. I put farms, rooms, entertainment room. Hoping that perhaps humans will be able to fly out to space for holiday?
Well it doesn't hurt to have a little imagination about outer space even for games. Some games involve outer space like Super Mario galaxy. Perhaps if i were to create a game on outer space i would create a game like the protagonist needs to leap through space to save his alien girlfriend? Or maybe invade an alien planet? Well it's always aliens invading earth and not the other way round so i think it would be quite new if we can have that as a game/movie? =D

Sword and Sorcery
It is a sub genre of fantasy. When we see the word sword we think of it as a weapon that has offensive ability. The word sorcery gives me a feeling of magic.
Magic comes in different forms, and these forms is just a different between one can do it or not. Like the magic in harry potter is definately impossible because firstly even if we have the wand there is no possibility that we can make something fly by just saying "wingardium leviosa". Well on the other hand, the magic that we know is david copperfield type of magic. Though it seems magical but it's actually all about tricks.
When magic is use they usually have this magic circle on the floor. Symbols can be seen as well. When we watch anime it's always about 1 hero and afew of his friends fihting for justice. Somehow or another it's always about 1 Vs many. When we mixed 2 Fantasy and reality together as we know it is super illogical but people just love it.
Games now a days implement Sword and Sorcery as well like Dynasty warriors where one hero vs thousand troops. I would say it's fun at first but will gradually gets bored. Games that uses magic on card games is possible as well like the Magic Cards where people can sell a card for $50 bucks. Implementing magic into games might be a good idea since and people just love magic. I love mages and would always play a mage characters no matter in what game.

Espionage means some one collecting secrets and confidential information without permission. A Crime is an act against the law.
Espoinage is illegal and will be punished by the law. It's like the job of a spy
Agent are a group of people working together to infiltrate a facility, they are given extensive training to enhance and prepare themself for battle. Agents have to keep secrets to themselves and always use a fake Identity.
Information obtained from espionage are of highly confidential information because it is mostly related to war like military information. Spying and obtain information and later on compiled in text. I wouldn't call this a form of art well even though at times like war there needs to be some secret information but i really opose war no matter what.
When we watch movies involving secret agents, cool gadgets, lots of weapons and explosion we will find it so cool and interesting. Well that's what i thought but hmm real life always seems the opposite haha.
Espionage can be use in different areas as well like industrial espionage to gain information of the company's plan, products etc. With this information we know that the one that hired an Espionage is definately another company trying to take over it by force.
Secret agents not just infiltrate and steal information, they need to have hacking knowledge as well like opening a code pin door, hacking into the computer system.
Movies that i have watch involving secret agents like Salt, Johnny English,My girlfriend is An Agent, Mr and Mrs Smith, Spy next door, Spy kids, etc. Seriously games that involve Espionage is really fun, like working under cover in games to obtain certain objectives. When we in real life wants to do alot of things but we can't the only thing we can do it is Gaming. Well games as we play makes us nervous when enemy is coming or when we infiltrate a place like real agents.

Crime
What is crime?
A crime meant breaching the rules and laws. Why do people want to commit crimes? When we speak of crime the commonly seen crime is burglary, Abuse (maid/ child), Harassment, drug possession, Kidnapping, rape, robbery, sexual assault, shoplifting and pirated cds. There are indeed too many crimes to talk about. I should say that crimes are often related closely to childhood. The way they are being brought up affects the way people think. The series show Criminal Minds talks about how each criminal do the things they do because of their childhood and how these F.B.I Catch them.
Sometimes people tends to do the opposite of what they are told. I guess it's a sign of rebellious? Or is it too tempting? Some of them did it because they wanted attention. It is a part of mental illness and if it is not treated careful the situation might get worse.
Voilence is something that really touches me the most because my sister has met it before. It's her ex husband that tries to strangle her twice. I feel very angry and would tend to outcast him by not talking to him, he is a very shameless person. Even though we tried to persuade my sister to divorce she just wouldn't listen. In the end, she tried to commit suicide and i was so glad that it wasn't successful. And the most happy part is that she manage to get a divorce with him and find another decent man. I once told my family that he will definately beat my sister again but my mother assures me that when a boy sees the man beating the mum, he will never do it to another. But i didn't think so and no one believe me. Well i guess maybe because they think that i'm still young that's why all the things i say is bullshit.
I do understand that games that are voilence brings great impact to our lives. That is why movies that are of higher voilence contents will be rated so that children would not be able to see it but who can actually keep it that way? We all know that movies now can be downloaded online and fighting games can be played online as well. I myself likes to play shooting games as well and hmm not all girls likes it very much though but people should learn what is right and what is wrong. Like what is real and unreal.
We all know that hacking is bad. However, police gets to hack into people's account. Hmm isn't hacking a crime? If it is then they will be using excuses like "I'm doing this for the country" and hack into everyone's laptop.
Shows like C.S.I, Fringe, Bones uses science to discover the truth about a crime that had happen. It's really because of this shows that i like investigation jobs. Well i don't think i can be one since i'm really bad at science.
Games like GTA helps players to commit crime in games instead of real life. Well i should say that it is fun since i played it as well and you can also kill everyone on the road with a sniper haha it sure is fun. Maybe this will decrease the chances of people doing crime in real life? Even like games in The Sims, they had a occupation for bulgary so as to become a Evil Mastermind.
Raping games are popular in Japan. They sell it on shops as well and it is said to envourage young teens to not rape anyone in real life since they can rape one in game.. Hmmm no matter how i see it it's still raping... I really don't know what are they thinking... Maybe from a criminal's mind yes it is fun but.. will it make it worse? What if he finds raping girls on laptop no more fun and want to try the real thing? Games like killing zombies is still quite alright since we can't really relate zombies in real life.
Games definately playes an important role in people's life. It entertains us and it helps us to stress relieve and from the survey i did before most people play games to escape from reality. This explains why teenager turns to be anti social because they feel more free when they are playing games and felt easier to open to other people in games.

Numbers & Tarot
Numbers plays an important role in life. When we know numbers we learn how to count. mathematics needs numbers to survive. Without Numbers there will not be mathematics and perhaps science too. 0 represents nothingness, 1 represents unity, 2 represents balance, and 3 represents stabality. It's like having only 1 nose, 1 mouth and most importantly one you!
Tarot cards are played by europeans. It is use to tell fortunes. It uses religious symbols and the symbols symbolises the form of icon used for different cultures and belief.
I played tarot cards before and i should say it's quite fun. It is somewhat true to some extend. The cards depends greatly on what you're going after. There are different types of formation for tarot cards. Different formation has different meanings like love, family etc. Fortunes can be tell in different ways and grealy rely on one's faith as well.
Numbers is use in everywhere even in game. When we do coding and scripting for our game we use logic and logic comes from mathematics. And mathematics comes from numbers and theories. Well i use to hate maths alot because it's complicated. But i guess we just can't life without it.
Using numbers we can create game like sudoku where everyone is playing it. And the most important thing of all is we all have Identification Number! haha...

A.I.
Artificial Intelligence reminds us about robots, when we talk about robots we all seen them in movies like A.I. and iRobots, Transformers, WallE and starwars. Robots comes in many forms. The latest technology that japan made is the Robot girl that that looks so real. It speaks and walk and shows expression. We may not know what is going to happen in the future, perhaps we will be friends with robots or even own a robots as pets.
Robots runs the A.I. installed into their "hard disk" and there is a certain way they react. Thigns like Irobot might happen when robot turns evil. I guess it is quite hard to kill a robot the fact that they don't die easily.
I do admit that machines helps us alot in someway. Like the Washing machine, the Vacuume machine, laptop, Television. Everything we use is a machine installed with A.I. but what would happen if the A.I. gone bonkers? Or the A.I. overtake human's job? Well jobs that people doesn't want to do it like the road sweepers? What if the robots took over the job and there will not be anyjob left in this world for us humans. I guess that is one way of overtaking us. The most scariest thing is robots having to look like humans. Furthermore they are able to speak our language and response back to us.
Designers have fun creating robots. Mini robots model like Gun dam where players have to fix to robot up from tiny pieces. I enjoy doing it and kids love it as well. I should say that the robots brings us joy since we have been watch transformers cartoons and doraemon is a robot too.
Robots runs accoringing to orders. They will strickly follow orders because robots are set to only follow their master's orders and will do anything to obtain the mission no matter what. i use to think that by keeping a robot at home that can help me to do housework will be great because this way my mum will stop nagging at me. Or maybe i can clone a robot that looks like me so that i can do 10 things at one time. Haha... Well i can send my clone to school and maybe set a record system so that i know what is happening in school well i don't get to miss out lessons. Most of all if i'm working and i get to work 10 different jobs i would definately be RICH!

Time Travel
Time travel is like a mysterious power bringing you on a journey either to the past or the future. Time travel has been used in many medias like books, movies, anime, and even games. The speed of light enables us to go through time. The theory of time is like a straight line. like the light emiting from a point to the other.
When we talks about Time travelling well the first image that comes to my mind is this super huge machine that can travel you through time. I remember watching time traveling shows and well it amuse me. But not so much now unless it actually happens. One show that i've seen lately is the Prince of Persia - the sands of time. Or perhaps the familiar face of doraemon flying through time? We all know that time is precious. well business people thinks that time is money. Well sometimes i really hope that i can pause time. when cases like the next day is exam day i will pause time and play all i want before continueing however, we still must go on. The day will come no matter what. Not the mention that when something is invented there bound to have the good and the bad.
I think the world would be in chaos if everyone is able to go through time. We will be able to see dinosaur in orchad? or maybe Tang Dynasty warriors in chinese garden? hahaha it would be super fun to see it. I should say that time travel maybe a good thing for people but it maybe bad as well. If one is to hold on to a time watch or a time gadgets what would they do with it? Well i will probably go way back to the past to see how it's like, Whethere there's really dinosaur or go to the future to see if the world would be so high technology where houses can fly. We tends to relate this kind of fantasy in shows so that it feels real. If the time gadgets lands on the hands of the terrorist, i guess they will return to the past, bomb everything and take over the world? Well it's possible since they can jump through time whereever they want.
Maybe scienctice would want to get their hands on the time travel device since if they are able to make one out they will be filthy rich. For game designers like us i would say that this is a good idea but every has been using it in games and media.

Preternatural talks about monsters of olden age, it represent the bad side of religion's theory of history. Our modern horro that we discover is the combination of technology and humanoid. Even with the games we have now, we often create new monsters out of real life machine. There's a movie show casing a combination of scissors and man. and other things like Dr Octopus in spiderman.
When we speak about supernatural phenomenon, the first thing that comes to one mind is ghost. Ghost is something that people fear of without even seeing it for once. Some believe that there's ghost and some don't. So many horror stories about ghost in the world. One said to be a true movie is published called the Haunted Changi. I haven't really see the movie myself but alot of my friends went there before and didn't discover a thing, why during the movie shooting itself that something happen?
I believe that people tends to scare themselves because of their subconsciouness keeps telling them that they will see something today and creates an illusion. When we are afraid we tend to be paranoid even by just a simple drip of water can scare the hell out of us. Not all people likes horror genre. Some people love the trills and therefore people making it find it fun to look at player's reaction.
When we die, some say that we will reincarnate, some say that we will go to heaven/hell and some say that we will just be some restless spirits. I'm sure everyone heard that if one is unable to reach their goal/revengeful they will not be able to reincarnate. Something struck me once when i read an article about a women getting hypnotise to see her past life. Saying that she was a boy back then. It feels so weird and why would people want to see their past live when they have the present? Does it really matter about how your past life is like? The only thing I believe is that every human being has karma, when we do bad things in the past life it will bring forward to the next and the next.

There's evil vampires and zombies, movies like Resident Evil that is showcasing now and quarantine. We use to think that zombies are just some stupid idiots that move around according to sound but guess what, zombies evolve and turn to something that even by shooting the head several times, it just won't die off easily. What's worse is that now they mutate into something that can swim and dig holes underground. Just how the hell do we fight them back? Well i would ask myself if a zombie comes running at me what would i do and i guess my answer will be to kill it. It's either i die or it die.
If we ever seen the show Supernatural we do know that they did ritual as well. be it to revive someone from dead/transfer one soul to another body Or just to see the preety devil standing infront of you. Devil takes form of one desire so that they can make the deal successfully. Not the mention there's voodoo dolls as well. While for us chinese we know last time about paper dolls where you write the name of that person on the doll and say things like hit your hit so that you will get headaches. something like that and continuously hitting the head of the paper doll. Straw dolls is use as we write the birthday of that person and use a needle to poke them and actual person will feel pain from the place you poke the needles in. Now voodoo dolls becomes so popular with cute design in them that people will just buy it just because it's cute. I have one of the limited version ones. haha..

Once i remember watching a horror movie and when i went to sleep i dreamt of this girl wearing white staring at me infront of my face and i got so scared that i jumped out of bed and still feel scared hiding in my blanky. It not just a dream anymore when we open our eyes but it feels so real. The only reason why people wanted to watch horror is because it is thrilling for them.

Alchemy 1 (Faris Lectures)
Discussing Alchemy and the Renaissance.
When we talk about magic the first thing that comes in my mind was harry potter and david copper field.
When we think of Renaissance, we learnt that Renaissance is the period between 15 to 16 century. Renaissance is interesting because people excel themselves by not going to a place where no one has been befor but to go back to the space what people knows about. Renaissance Scholar has all kinds of books with them, just like the internet we have now, all the resources we need can all be found on a piece of device. This is called Synthesis. Renaissance is someone that knows up to 6 languages. Philosophy grants wisdom.
One of the complex city inRenaissance is called Christianit. where plato and aristotle doesn't have. There may be a chance that the books of plato/aristotle sounds like bible.
Fancinating thing is a dream in a dream like the show Inception. Idea of syntesis. Renaissance scholars aare talking about the impact of body impacts the soul. How soul impacts the body. Hermes is a legendary figure that pre-dated even plato.
They look through the book hoping they will find Aether/Mercury. Ficino read Hermetica in a different way, to hm the book is more like a menu. Menu on how to draw Life from the heavens and earth.
de vita Libra Tres is a book that can let you lead a longer life. Why would one want to lengthen your life span? Is it just lengthening your life span but will grow old? if so i rather die peacefully instead of dragging my 80 years old body around. being old is not so cool because old people can't move fast and not to mention the aches we will get eventually. Unless we are talking about a medicine that never grow old but that will only make life more boring because you can't stay in a place for long.
There is only 1 paragraph Ficino concentrated on. This chapter was on how people make idols on worship. In order to learn more about propetious life, one must know what material the gods like. Like using the material the gods like to attract them. Like a force.

Effects of Media
The effects of media is so great because of the technology now and I wouldn’t be surprise if one day we have a movie screen made out of projections coming out of one small ball. Though we have better playing experience not to mention that because of wifi function we get to play Wii and have a whole new experience somehow we just want more. Something like wearing a goggle and can enter a game like the anime .hack where players needs to wear this goggle thing to enter the game world. It’s a whole new fun thing when you get to really be in the characters point of view and move mentally. But however too much technology might also be a problem, as we know that we already have robots but it’s not really moving very smoothly but someday we might even be able to see robots as maids like the ones we seen in IRobot.The media that people always gets to see are from TV, media that comes from books, movies and games are very different from one another, movies and even TV now have 3D effects and soon maybe even for computer it will be 3D soon.
A movie are usually made using books like harry potter but still if anyone that reads the book before watching the movie will find fault in the movie itself whereas people that didn’t read the book and watch the movie first will find the movie done extremely well.
when I watch shows like G.I Joe the graphics and visual effects are so good that when I watch older movies it’s like all weird and so just imagine at that time itself when these were the best graphics during that time. Surround sound plays an important role as well when we watch movie, in order to experience at first hand sound is definitely needed. Now that we even have surround sound function in Mp players and even ear phones it’s so cool and people just can’t do without it.
Horror movies with sound effects scares people and even though people know they would be watching a horror movies and be still afraid and dare not stay in the room alone, they still want to watch because horror shows thrills them and some people says it feels good. Comparing the different genre of movies I have watched so far gives me different movie experience. The recent movie that I’ve watched IP Man: The legend is born was really entertaining, when I first watched the trailer of the show I wasn’t quite impressed with the trailer but decides to watch anyway coz the fighting part is nice so after watching I find it quite nice because I didn’t really put much expectation in it and it turns out well, whereas movies that I place high expectations wasn’t what I expected and just felt disappointed. Movies like Harry Potter: half blood prince I find it quite disappointed not because I have read the book but because I wanted to see more. Some very distinct comparison is movies that can be watched in 3D. Seriously Prince of Persia - The sands of time really disappoints me because I spend more money watching it 3D and the only thing that is 3D Is the CHINESE SUBTITLE so I can conclude that the different media does makes a difference in watching experience.

Transrealism
Transrealism is a mixture of techniques use in Science Fiction, the technique used can create a naturalistic realism meaning it could just take the readers away from reality. Transrealism literature is close to surrealism and also abit of the slipstream. From what i read from the The Transrealist manifesto it states that transrealism is not so much of science fiction and more like a history literature. A transrealist novel can't be written with a outline, writers can only choose characters, time, setting and key scenes and mostly that comes out of it doesn't make sense as we know when we read a book and it's predictable there is not much of an interest, the reason why the content doesn't make sense because life itself doesn't.
The library of babel, in this library which we can't possibly find on earth has all the unlimited number of books. Isnt it just interesting, though i am not the type that read all kinds of books and sometimes i even find books boring well maybe because i didn't know them well enough but it i were there i'll probably gone mad too seeing all the books surrounding me. Even though there's answer in this library and time we spent reading everybook we probably can't unless we have immotality. But the question is even though the library books has answer for everything meaning all the contents/books are all truth and if that's the case i would like to find out alot of things like dragons, vampires, ghost, immotality, plenty more.
The Circular Ruins is quite interesting after reading the story of it i kind of think that well some people say that humans are made by Nu wa and some says that we are made by god so does that mean that there are actually 2 god or more making humans? so chinese are all made by nu wa and those foreigner are all made by god? anyway, so we are made by gods and what made god? they don't just born out of a stone like monkey king.
I watched a few shows before that is kind of similar to this story, one of it is the movie Gamer where the prisoner was controled by real humans called slayers to play a game, This game aint fake because if the slayers isn't good enough the players in the game dies of real death. And to successfully get out of the prison the players must win a number of rounds inorder to gain freedom, the only bad thing was that the players are not suppose to choose people that control them but the control player gets to choose. It's like playing with human life.
Sometimes thoughts came to me when i'm playing the sims by controlling the sim to do what i want them to do so does that mean that i am being controlled as well to do things that i didn't want to do? or am i being programmed that even if i didn't want to do it i will still do it? well we never know what's out there beyond the universe and

slipstream is a kind of non realisic fiction that is said to be the fiction of strangness. slipstreams falls between mainstream fiction and fiction. slipstream creates a world where things does not make sense as well, one of the movie that i think doesn't make sense was Alice in the wonderland where alice falls from the rabbit hole into an unknown world where flowers and speak and caterpillar that smokes.
Comparing
Science Fiction are mostly base on technology and even though it may or maynot be real it is still counted as theoretically possible for it to happen and fantasy are mostly base on magic though the rules and laws has been bend.
Transrealism and slipstream are similar in a sense that they disconnects with reality and context doesn't make sense but transreal uses fantasy that merges the thoughts of the author's perspective of the world in his mind.
while merging transrealism with fantasy it gives people a different feeling like a world of nothing created by magic. Merging different genre can create different feelings and it just gets interesting as it is said to not make any sense and unpredictable that captures people's mind.

Horror Splatter
The strongest feelings among our emotions are fear, fear is something that can trigger even in broad day light, we fear things that we can't see or things that is less likely to happen. Fear was triggered either by being surprise or childhood memories. I was once told by my parents when i'm young that if i am not obedient the apunehneh will come and catch me away, seriously everything the garang guni walks pass i will hide and dare not come out, i find it very funny now that i think back. When we watch a horror movie we know that the things we are going to watch is going to keep us from sleeping at night as we will imagine and when sounds were heard we will get super paranoid and hide under our blanket. Why do people like to watch horror movies? Because it's thrilling people likes the feeling of being scared? or maybe they just want to watch it with girls so that they can be grabbed by them?(for male)
Well i did a research on why people like to watch horror movies and i found that the study is being conducted by Eduardo Andrade and Joel B. Cohen, argueing about the reason why people like watching scary movies is that it is a way to experience both positive and negative emotions simultaneously. while experiencing the nagative emotions and also experiencing positive emotions this may reinforce the need to continue to watch horror films.
Splatter is a need when you watch movies that shows blood splattering when the character is being cut. This makes the movie more realistic and also gives abit of thrill to people and that is also why these kind of movies have rates as well. I'm not really into horror movies but will watch one or two sometimes, i ever watched a funny horror movie about chinese vampires and a family ghost. One of which is a hong kong show by sammi My Left eye sees ghosts. While the different between horror shows and games is that while in game you would tend to just pause there and not move because your're afraid that something might pop up and scares you but in movie you can't really stop the show unless your watching from a DVD at home.
I think that the only thing that scares people in movie is the surround sound effect because i tried watching a horror movie without sound at home, though it's not as thrilling as it is you can still have a little bit of "what is going to happen/come out next" thoughts. When we talk about unexplainable phenomena the only thing we could do was feel scared because basically we can't see them and i have heard a few rumours about ghost disturbing beings.
Experience:
well i have had experience once before when i'm in china for a holiday trip, it was early in the morning when my sis was bathing and i slept first so at first i heard people knocking on the drawer behind me several times thinking that it was my sister i throw my temper and turned back but there was no one and i could hear the shower going so i went back to sleep but next i heard a sound calling "OI" and this time i really heard it and scolded something coz i really hate people disturbing me from my sleep but once again there was no one so woke up and switched on the TV to stop myself from thinking further. This is totally not like any other horro movies i've watch before and i am not really that scared.
There is only one horror games i've played before which is Silent Hill on PSP and it really scares me because everytime i enter a shop it's all pitch black and i would tend to stop awhile before moving, i didn't manage to complete the game because i reached a place and monsters keep chasing after me and i just kept running in circles didn't know where to go feeling frustrated i quitted the game. hahaha
From my point of view i think that horror movies that are happened usually at home is the most scariest one or maybe like what we have seen is the same thing as what people in the movie seen and maybe we'll be curse too? a few examples like The Ring where the video tape was being watched and soon later the phone rings so imagine you're watching The Ring Movie at the cinema and as the phone in the show rings, your phone rings along with it. It will definately make you jump haha.. One show that is said to be true is the Paranormal Activity about this house is said to live a demon and this couple wanted to take down the video of this demon and failed but get themselves into trouble. The ending is said to be false as there are 3 alternate endings.
These kind of ghost horror is different from gore horror, for gore horror there is usually a serial killer which is unknown and starts killing people like Scream, chucky and Saw, this kind of shows really gives people the thrill shouting "quick run run run" and get anxious for the main characters. I really like shows where you can see the main character fighting with the serial killer instead of just running and getting killed. one of the show that i really dislike is quarantine as the reporter keeps screaming and it's because of her that the cameraman and her got killed and didn't even put up a fight. Sometimes shows that are not suppose to be scary are scary, like the Toys Story 1 where the kid disabled the toys and put them together in any combination looks kind of scary to me and most of all it's toys and kids have been playing with barbie dolls and all.
There's really not much difference from watching a chinese vampire and a english vampire show well the only different is that the english vampire can hide their tooth and they looked just like any other normal being while the chinese vampires are made by dead corpse and there will be this man that put a tailsmen on their head and made them jump and transfer them from one place to the other. There is always one vampire that is super strong and powerful but something stupid about the chinese vampires is that you just have to hold your breathe and they can't find you i mean isn't it weird? well it is said that the human Qi plays an important role for chinese. Even if the chinese vampires are afraid of tailsmen there's no way a strong vampire will be afraid of just some papers. When we watch vampires shows like van helsing we know that vampires is not afraid of crosses except for holy water i guess and sun light? maybe? Well you can try holding ur breathe if you met one the next time? haha Ok so as long as a chinese vampire bites or use his claw you turned into a vampire as well and i watch a show saying about if you place the person that got bitten by vampires you just have to let him/her stepped on the rice for like 3 days or so it might help him to force the poison out.
For a english vampire to change a human into vampire they have to input their own blood into the normal human being and so they becomes one with them. Isn't the biting part similar to zoombies? they bite you and you turned into one of the undead. 
Hmm never liked zoombies because it's human beings and well you see humans everywhere so imagine there really is a virus that turns humans into zoombies and i guess it will be the end for singapore since it's small. =D
I find that using an object in movies is a success for movie makers for example there's a lot of shows using puppets/dolls and since then alot of people will be afraid of dolls. For me i think clowns are very scary after it is being used in most of the shows, now that they look super creepy to me if i see one on the street. I remembered watching a doll show called Chucky and it really freaks me out because it moves and kills people, so when i see the chucky model at plaza singapura i try to avoid it or would not enter the shop at all.photos taken from:
